The following report forms are adapted from examples included in these materials and reflect the specific needs of the schools which developed them.

 

ZEEHAN PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDIES OF SOCIETY AND ENVIRONMENT SOSE is the study of our world and the environment and the way people interact within it. Students have been provided with the opportunity to become informed, active and responsible citizens.  THE SOSE STRANDS Level Time, Continuity and Change - focuses on continuity and change in people's lives. Students analyse how and why changes have occurred over time. This knowledge enables students to use the past to help understand the present and prepare for the future. 1 2 3 4 5 Place and Space - students examine aspects of places in which they or others live and how these aspects change or persist over time and space. 1 2 3 4 5 Culture - deals with the ways people form groups to share their understandings of the world and to develop ways of living. 1 2 3 4 5 Resources - students investigate the nature and use of resources in Australia and the rest of the world. 1 2 3 4 5 Natural and Social Systems - students develop an understanding of legal, political, economic and environmental systems globally. 1 2 3 4 5 Investigation, Communication and Participation - students use processes such as:  research, analysing, negotiating and group work when presenting their learning. 1 2 3 4 5
