Oh, What a Day!

To successfully use the Open-IT unit Oh, What a Day! you need the following files. They can be downloaded from here, or are available on the Open-IT CD, Oh, What a Day!

  • The Instructions folder
  • The movies folder
  • The Xtras folder
  •  all the program elements.

All files are zipped and will need to be unzipped on your desktop using WinZip.

To assist with speed of download the individual elements can be downloaded from here. They need to be downloaded into a folder called Oh, What a Day!  When you have downloaded each zip file, unzip the files into the Oh, What a Day! folder. They all need to be in the folder, in the following structure, for the program to work properly.

If you wish to download additional sound, movie or picture files as resources for the program click on the zip files below. Unzip them to the Oh, What a Day! folder or to a folder of your own choice.

You may also download Yak Install (you don't need to do this if you have downloaded the Xtras file above), which is the program you need for computer generated speech on a PC. After you have unzipped it, click on Yak, then Install, then install.bat.
