Tasmanian DoE Learning Objects

The following learning objects developed by the Tasmanian Department of Education are for review by teachers.

Artists and Place

 

 

 

To successfully use the Open-IT unit Rapping to the Beat you need the following files and folders. They can be downloaded from here, or are available on the Open-IT CD, Rapping to the Beat.

  • The Instructions folder
  • The movies folder
  • The Xtras folder
  •  all the program elements.

All files are zipped and will need to be unzipped on your desktop using WinZip.

To assist with speed of download the individual elements can be downloaded from here. They need to be downloaded and extracted into a folder called Rapping to the Beat. They all need to be in the folder, in the following structure, for the program to work properly.

 

 

 

If you are able to download files at speed, you may download all the files at once here.

If you wish to download additional sound, movie or picture files as resources for the program click on the zip files below. Unzip them to the Rapping to the Beat folder or to a folder of your own choice. 

You may also download Yak Install, which is the program you need for computer generated speech on a PC. After you have unzipped it, click on Yak, then Install, then install.bat.
